Marisa’s calling to help others as a healer started very early in her life. She began training and apprenticing with John Lee, acupressure/reflexologist, in 2003.

As a gifted acupressure/reflexologist and certified massage practitioner, she has the innate ability to read energy imbalances within her clients and to use the gift of healing touch to assist her clients in attaining over-all wellness. Marisa blends Eastern healing methods and Western massage techniques to create a unique modality facilitating transformational energy shifts.

Marisa is not only admired for her empathy and compassion for others, but she is also respected for her focused healing energy.  She attributes much of her focus and strength as a healer to more than 20 years experience as a Japanese Taiko drummer.   She often works in tandem with Chuente Castaneda (a fellow practitioner at The Tao Center for Healing), offering the specialized healing techniques and energies of two gifted acupressure/reflexology/massage specialists.
